Roscommon County Childcare Committee CLG hold its annual general meeting

Roscommon County Childcare Committee CLG (Roscommon CCC) held their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 2^nd June 2021. Roscommon County Childcare Committee CLG (Roscommon CCC) is a partnership of individuals and organisations working together for the enhancement of Early Childhood Care & Education in the County.

Our diverse board of directors/members each bring their own experiences and expertise in supporting management deliver on key objectives within our local implementation plan. Together with the board, management, staff team, local/national agencies, providers and early year’s practitioners, many opportunities providing initiatives and funding streams which support children and families have been accessed over the years throughout County Roscommon. Roscommon CCC will continue to champion the early years sector both at local and national level.

The work of Roscommon CCC is supported by the board of directors who are responsible for overseeing the strategic vision and governance of the organisation in collaboration with the Manager/County Childcare Coordinator to ensure the efficiency with which it carries out its day to day business. Our diverse board of directors each bring their own experiences and expertise in supporting management deliver on key objectives within our local implementation plan while overseeing supports to the local early learning and care and school age childcare sector.

Roscommon CCC has been added to the Governance Code Registry of Organisations and are compliant with the Code of Practice for Good Governance of Community, Voluntary and Charitable Organisation in Ireland.
