Learner Fund Bursary for Childminders – Deadline 30th September 2022
The Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration & Youth (DCEDIY) have re-opened the Learner Fund Bursary to Tusla Registered Childminders who are new graduates of a recognised Early Childhood Care and Education Full Level 5 or 6 award. If you are a graduate of a recognised Early Childhood Care & Education with a major award placed at level 5/6 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) and achieved in the academic years 2015 to 2022 inclusive, please download a copy of the application form and eligibility criteria below.
A DCEDIY reference number is required. If a Childminder does not have a DCEDIY reference number, they will need to on-board through the Hive system (https://earlyyearshive.ncs.gov.ie/). This process may take time, so applicants are advised to complete as soon as possible.
- Application form to be completed in full and by the deadline specified.
- Supporting qualifications documentation, along with photographic evidence, must be provided with the application form.
- The qualification for which the bursary is paid must be on the DCEDIY Early Years Recognised Qualifications list.
Roscommon County Childcare Committee will process and appraise Childminder Learner Fund Bursary applications in County Roscommon. Applications open on 15th August and the deadline for submission of applications is 30th September 2022 All application forms must be fully completed (including supporting documents listed thereon) and returned by email to Roscommon CCC at aine.mannion@roscommonchildcare.ie no later than 5pm on Friday 30th September 2022.
