Kids Rule Afterschool are looking for an Afterschool Manager in our Elphin location

We are offering a permanent position of 25 hours per week, Monday-Friday 1pm-6pm daily.

This role is based in our Elphin location working with junior infants to sixth class.

The ideal candidate would have:

• – childcare qualification (not necessary but desirable)
• – have flexibility within your role
• – be energetic, caring and passionate
• – Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• – Excellent communication skills, IT and administration skills

Roles and Responsibilities:

• -Manage and oversee the day to day running of the school age care setting ensuring the safety, care and welfare of the children and staff is always maintained
• -plan and implement afterschool activities 
• -Ensure compliance with TUSLA and Pobal
• -following our policies and procedures and help implement them
• -motivating and building relationships with staff
• -helping to delegate specific roles and responsibilities of each employee
