EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FAR TRAINERS

A new regulatory requirement for Early Tears services will come into effect from June 1st 2020. Regulation 25 states that there must be a person(s) who has undertaken the FAR (First Aid Response) by a trainer approved by the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) immediately available to children attending the service. Roscommon County Childcare Committee is now looking for details of interested First Aid Instructors who are delivering FAR training in County Roscommon.

Attached is an expression of interest for FAR Trainers outlining how training instructors can be eligible.
If you are interested in delivering training to services in County Roscommon please reply via email to training@roscommonchildcare.ie with details outlined in the attached letter by Friday 1st March 2019.
