Childcare&Me App Launched

Roscommon CCC and Tusla Roscommon recently launched the Childcare&Me App. This app has a national reach into each county across Ireland and is available in three languages; English, Arabic and Ukrainian. The app was developed by Roscommon CCC and funded by Tusla Roscommon and DCEDIY (Ukrainian Supports).

The app has a national focus rather than a more localised focus so that wherever you are located geographically throughout Ireland the information can be accessed on the App for your locality. The App information platform is envisaged as a modern-day mobile tool that will assist families when transitioning into communities and/or looking for childcare programme supports and Tusla family supports.

An important feature of the app is that it will be multi-lingual.

The app is a one top shop of information on Early Learning and Care (ELC) and School Aged Childcare(SAC) and Family supports available throughout the Country. The unique feature of this app is that, no matter where you are based throughout Ireland, the app will signpost you to your nearest ELC/SAC service, local County Childcare Committee,  Family Resource Centre and Local Authority.

The Childcare&Me app is an exciting development to further support families looking for information regarding the national childcare programmes and  family supports at local and national level as their family and the family’s needs evolves.  The app also has information on all local authorities throughout Ireland.
