Child Protection Training schedule up to end of 2019 – Update From Roscommon CCC Manager regarding Children First Foundation Level Programme

UPDATE FROM ROSCOMMON CCC MANAGER IRENE CAFFERKY REGARDING CHILDREN FIRST FOUNDATION LEVEL PROGRAMME
(CHILD PROTECTION TRAINING SCHEDULE TO END of 2019)

Roscommon CCC are delivering Children First (CF) Foundation level training (full day programme 6hours) specifically for County Roscommon Early Learning & Care Services on the following dates:

Tuesday 28th May 2019 – Roscommon County Childcare Committee CLG Offices, Knock Road, Castlerea 10am-4pm.
Thursday 6th June 2019- Roscommon Leader Partnership Offices, Roscommon town. 10am-4pm.
Saturday 6th July 2019 – Wonder Years Crèche, Cornafulla, Athlone. 10am-4pm.
Saturday 20th July 2019 – Wonder Years Crèche, Cornafulla, Athlone. 10am-4pm.
Thursday 15th August 2019 – Roscommon County Childcare Committee CLG Offices, Knock Road, Castlerea. 10am-4pm.
Thursday 10th October 2019- Vita House, Roscommon Town. 2.30-8.30pm
Thursday 15th November 2019- Roscommon County Childcare Committee CLG Offices, Knock Road, Castlerea. 2.30-8.30pm.

All participants should seek a place by booking in on Eventbrite here and emailing training@roscommonchildcare.ie a copy of their Tusla eLearning certificate which is a requirement for allocation of a place on the Tusla CF foundation level one day programme. Services should also specify the role of individual staff members within the service when requesting places i.e. are they a designated person or deputy designated person as priority is given to those roles. Roscommon CCC hope to accommodate all requests for training places and advise that a copy of the staff members eLearning certificate should be on file in the event of a Tusla inspection.
